Indications
Cod Liver Oil 1000 may be used for the prevention or treatment of vitamin, mineral or nutritional deficiencies. Cod liver oil is a naturally rich source of vitamins A and D, thus helping to maintain the health of the teeth, bones and tissues, including the eyes, skin and hair. Vitamin A may specifically assist in the maintenance of the skin, stomach lining and mucous membranes of the digestive tract. Vitamin D assists in the metabolism of calcium within the body. Does not contain added egg, milk, peanut, corn, soy or tree nut products, yeast, gluten, lactose, artificial colourings or flavourings.

WARNING: When taken in excess of 8000 IU vitamin A can cause birth defects. If you are pregnant, or considering becoming pregnant, do not take vitamin A supplements without consulting your doctor or pharmacist. The recommended adult daily amount of vitamin A from all sources is 2500 IU.

Vitamin supplements should not replace a balanced diet.
