Indications Herbs of Gold™ Pregnancy Essentials is a multivitamin, mineral and antioxidant formula that provides nutritional support for all stages of natal development; preconception, pregnancy and breastfeeding. Pregnancy Essentials provides 24 active ingredients including B group vitamins, calcium, manganese, iron, chromium, zinc and vitamin C. It also contains iodine which is required for the healthy development of a baby’s brain, eyes and ears.Pregnancy Essentials provides a daily dose of 500mcg of folic acid. Folic acid, if taken daily for one month before conception and during pregnancy, may reduce the risk of having a child with spina bifida/ neural tube defectsDoes not contain added egg, milk, peanut or tree nut products, yeast, gluten, lactose, artificial colourings, flavourings or preservatives.
Do not exceed the stated dose except on medical advice. If you have had a baby with a neural tube defect/spina bifida – seek specific medical advice.
