Who is it for? 

For 12 years and above experiencing acute symptoms associated with coughs, cold, flu, sinus, allergies, hay fever, catarrh and nasal congestion. 

What does it do?

Greenridge Biotic liquid is a high potency Echinacea based formula with natural antibacterial properties, to provide relief from acute symptoms of coughs, colds and flu, sinus and nasal congestion, also allergies, hay fever and catarrh. It provides relief from inflammation and discomfort from laryngitis and tonsillitis.

Each 4mL contains:

Dose

Adults only - Maintenance - Take 2.5mL twice daily.
For acute conditions: take 4mL three times daily in a small quantity of water or juice.

If upper respiratory tract symptoms are not relieved in 48 hours, seek Professional advice.

Caution

• In accordance with general medical practice, this product should not be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding without medical advice.
• Do not use this product if you have a known allergy to Echinacea (daisy family).
• This product contains Echinacea, which may trigger asthma in some people.
• Do not use this product if you have gastric or duodenal ulcers due to the mustard oils in Horseradish (Blumenthal et al. 1998:150).
• History of Kidney disorders - Seek medical advice before use. Ascorbic acid may contribute to the formation of kidney stones.
• Diabetes - Biotic liquid contains honey, which contains the sugars, fructose and glucose.

Medicine Interactions

Aluminium containing Antacids - Separate doses of Vitamin C and Aluminium containing Antacids by a minimum of 2 hours. Vitamin C may increase aluminium absorption.
Antiviral Agents - Protease Inhibitors (e.g. Indinavir) - Garlic may decrease blood levels of Protease Inhibitors. Seek medical advice.
Blood Pressure Medication - Beta Blockers (only Propranolol) - Separate doses of Vitamin C and Propranolol by a minimum of 2 hours. Concurrent use of Vitamin C may reduce the absorption and effectiveness of Propranolol. Seek medical advice.
Blood Thinning Medication (e.g. Warfarin/Aspirin) - Garlic has been shown to thin the blood in some people. Seek medical advice.
Cancer Medication - Seek medical advice before taking any Greenridge product if being treated for cancer.
Immunosuppressant Medication (e.g. Cyclosporine) - Echinacea species may stimulate the immune system. Seek medical advice.
