ASTRA 8 IMMUNE TONIC contains the herb Astragalus and seven other potent immune system boosting herbs. The herbs in Astra 8 Immune Tonic have been used for centuries to help people strengthen their body?s defences and restore good health. Astra 8 Immune Tonic is based on an ancient Chinese therapy called Fu Zheng Pei Ben. In Chinese medicine terms Fu Zheng means to rectify and support the normal, healthy vital energy (Qi) of all body systems, while Pei Ben means to strengthen the resistance mechanisms of the body especially those relating to healthy immune function.
Dosage Recommendations
Adult: 1-2 tablets or 5 - 10 mL liquid once or twice daily
Child: (6 ? 12yrs) 1/2 - 1 tablet once or twice daily
Child: (2 ? 12yrs) 2 ? 7 mL of oral liquid once daily
May take an extra dose if required
Best taken at least half hour before food
Continue therapy until recovery is complete
The usual duration of therapy is 1 - 2 weeks after minor infection; 2 - 4 weeks if at risk of developing post-viral fatigue; 4 - 6 weeks post-operatively and following illness
Long-term therapy may be necessary for people with chronic immune weakness
